Internet Merchant Account

Internet Merchant Accounts are very similar to bank accounts; however they deal specifically with electronic credit card transactions online. For a merchant to be able to accept credit cards for payment on the Internet, the merchant must have an Internet Merchant Account with an acquiring institution. The acquirer authorizes the purchases made with the card and ensures that the funds are deposited into the merchant's bank account.

Internet Payment Gateway

The internet payment gateway is the vehicle by which the credit card transaction request are securely transferred from the merchants website across the Internet to the Internet Merchant Account. Although BIS Global will work with any Merchant Account or Gateway, we can make an informed recommendation to you based on price and value due to our extensive experience working with Merchant accounts and Gateways. Therefore, we recommend using authorize.net as your Internet Payment Gateway, and we have provided the forms for their two payment gateway solutions below:

Internet Payment Gateway:

This is a traditional payment gateway. All of the terms are dependant upon your Internet Merchant Account, Bank, and Authorize.net. You can download the Application form below.

Integrated Payment Solution:

This is a payment gateway that just uses your business checking account so that you do not need to worry about setting up an Internet Merchant account. There are some limitations to the use of this solution so please check the documentation. There is a limit to the number of transactions and amount of revenue that can be transferred every month.
